The initiative comes hot on the heels of FPV posting its best-ever sales year in 2006, and the FPV GT being named by Melbourne's Sunday Herald Sun as having the best retained residual value of any vehicle in the large car segment. The new website can be found at www.fpvpreowned.com.au, or by clicking on the "FPV pre-owned" link at www.fpv.com.au. It features demonstrator and pre-owned models being retailed at authorised FPV dealers. Prospective buyers can browse the database by model, year, price, kilometres or location to find their desired pre-owned FPV model. FPV Marketing and Sales Manager Roger Gray said the Used Car Locator provides a one-stop shop for existing and prospective FPV buyers anywhere in Australia. "We have worked closely with our dealer network to establish a database of near-new and genuine pre-owned FPV models," he said. "Our focus has always been to make the purchase and ownership of an FPV a special experience, and we are now making it even easier for customers in the pre-owned market. "FPV continues to build a reputation for retaining excellent residual value across its model range, which was recently recognised by the Sunday Herald Sun with the FPV GT topping the retained value list in the large car category. "This ensures that purchasers of both new and pre-owned FPV models not only buy a great ownership experience, they also receive a significant bonus when the time comes to sell or upgrade their FPV."
