The Boss 302

Ford buffs know that this name was first used on a special engine fitted to the 1969 Mustang – the Boss 302.  The modern-day Boss 302 delivers 302kW (DIN) at 6,000 rpm with 540 Newton metres of torque (DIN) at 4,750 rpm.

To fit the Boss 302 without compromising ground clearance or stifling airflow, a special power bulge bonnet was factory-designed and tooled, crating an unmistakable level of authority on the street.
